At the start of the 20th century, our grandparents Ada, Irving, Birdie and Louis each left their mark through their special flavor of ingenuity and class. With their parents landing in New York harbor to build a new life, the four coincidentally grew up with Manhattan’s expansion as a backyard to become known for furniture making, passementerie and medicine and fashion.
